I lived @ Ascoile house when my father was Head Shepherd in the 1960's early 70's, and I remember when the pylons were erected in the strath back then, the scars of which are still visable today.
But to deface the most photographed view in the whole of the strath is diabolical.
Surely the line could be put underground for this section, if no alternative route is possible, cost alone should not be the deciding factor in this instance. Why must it go overland ? Under the sea would be preferable.
The cost of providing green energy should not be at the cost of our counties beauty.
